mooooooved www.darrenlee.sg Saturday, March 15, 2008 life in a bullet train Life's been like a bullet train. The clock just keeps ticking, and slow it down you can't. I'm trying to keep up pace with everything that's unfolding around me now. I've been busy lately. Maybe a bit too busy. But it ain't that bad when it's work that's knocking on your door. Sure beats counting time at home I guess. At least that all important income stream heads forth this way. Good thing that. I've been out every single day this month, be it at work or for play. "Home is where the heart is", but I'd choose to think that there's some irony in that. Yes, I know, I need to spend more time home, and less time out. But if there's something I'm missing, that'll be quality time with individuals I'd truly call "friends". A dinner or two would be great, so get ready pals. That's where I've got me zeroed in on... Saturday, November 3, 2007 the blooming of gloom The fresh school term's in full bloom. Friendships, many of which full of promise, are forged as busy bees rush off to work in their newly formed project groups. The campus buzzes with life once more. Gone is the symphony of silence, the prelude to the new term. Arise the anthem of yet another ardous episode in this our seemingly endless academic journey. Beneath the surface, not all is well. For amidst the sunlight, a storm of deadlines approaches forth. Merciless and unforgiving they are. Helpless and fearful we are. Heaven ain't close in a place like this.
